This series of Spanish books is especially suitable for English-speaking students who wish to study Spanish in a systematic way, while learning about Latin American and Spanish culture. It is extremely popular in USA high schools, often being part of the curriculum. Each of the four books is available online in PDF format and complemented with fun videos and challenging audio activities.

Every chapter deals with common daily situations and introduces facts about Spanish-speaking countries. Apart from all these topics, students will learn the grammar points that correspond to the level A1 and A2 of Spanish, and social expressions to interact in the situations above such as travelling, ordering food, describing someone, and many more.

Level 4 introduces students to the geography, history and culture of Spain, the Andean region of South America, Chile, Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay, Central America and the Mayan civilization, the Mexican culture, Cuba, Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic and their political situation, Venezuela and Colombia, and the Latin American hero Simón Bolívar, and the Latinos (Hispanics) in the United States. Along these units, the student will be introduced to authentic materials such as extracts from newspaper articles and extracts from literary works written by popular Spanish and Latin American writers and poets.
