To talk about your family you can say:
NOTE: The Spanish word “pariente” is a false cognate (false friend). “Pariente” does not mean “parent”; it means “relative”.
To express the relationship between members of the family, you can say:

In English, we say someone "is" so many years old. e.g. Tom is 14.
In Spanish, to talk about people's ages, we use the verb TENER (have):
Yo | TENGO |
Tú | TIENES |
Él, Ella, Usted | TIENE |
Nosotros/as | TENEMOS |
Vosotros/as | TENÉIS |
Ellos, Ellas, Ustedes | TIENEN |
To say your age you can say: Yo tengo 20 años. (I'm 20 years old.)
If someone wants to know your age, they might ask: ¿Cuántos años tienes tú? (How old are you?)
To ask someone's age you could say:
Lee las oraciones y completa con la palabra de parentesco correcta.
Example: La hija de mi tía es mi __________.
La hija de mi tía es mi prima.
