Indefinite Pronouns in Spanish

The Indefinite Pronoun in Spanish is a pronoun that takes the place of the noun that has previously been mentioned in the conversation or text.

For example: "¿Vienen tus hermanos?" (Are your brothers coming?) "Si, TODOS están aquí. (Yes, they are ALL here.) In the reply to this question, TODOS (ALL) refers to "tus hermanos" (your brothers).

Notes:

1. These pronouns only use the third person singular form of the verb. For example: ¿Todos están listos? - Is everybody ready?

2. These pronouns must always refer to a noun that has already been mentioned. For example: Tengo 10 videos y quiero ver CADA UNO. I have 10 videos and I want to watch EACH ONE.

3. These pronouns can be modified with "de" plus "ellos" "ellas" "nosotros/as" "vosotros/as" "ustedes" or another noun. For example: Algunas de las chicas han llegadas. - Some of the girls have arrived.
